SELF REFLECTIONS
Drawbacks and improvement that we can make:
· If our project video could take on the real canteen, instead of the discussion room, it would be better and more real to life. It would be more fascinating.
· The fluency of speaking Chinese during the actual shooting could be better if we spend more time practicing and doing more rehearsals.
· If we can take a close-up shooting of each person when he or she speaks, it would be clearer and better to understand what has each person has said. So, the audience can better see and understand the words that each person said.
· If we can add some interesting sound and animation in the video, it would make the video more interesting.
“I learned a lot from this project, I made a new Chinese friend. I also managed to learn how to make and design a blog. My Chinese has improved a lot by doing this project as practice makes perfect. This is my first interaction with Chinese people and I understand what the person is saying. This project is fun!!”
-Andrea-
“Due to this project, I learned new chinese words besides words from the lesson. Also, I was able to practise speaking and pronouncing chinese. I am quite satisfied that I am able to speak Chinese and the person understand what I am saying. My Chinese has improved a lot”
-Aurora Wiyojilie-
“I think it was a fascinating experience for me as this project involves a lot of interaction and team work. I think this project give me a chance to speak with the native speaker and apply what I have learned in the lecture to the real life. Yet, more importantly, listening and trying to understand what my Chinese friend said is a challenge for me. It shows that I still have a long way to go. “
-Bambang Febryanto-
“I found that I understood the lessons better after doing this project because I can practice speaking Chinese and apply what I learned in class and that helps a lot. Also, I learned some new Chinese words which are not in the textbook. My Chinese has really improved much due to this project.”
-Indriani Wijaya-
